The Association for Project Management (APM) has announced the appointment of two new vice presidents, Alistair Godbold and Antonio Nieto Rodriguez, to succeed Dr Paul Chapman.
The pair will be responsible for key duties including advocating for APM and hosting high-profile events such as the APM Awards.
Alistair Godbold, Hon Fellow APM FAPM ChPP, brings more than three decades of experience in the project profession to his new position. His career includes serving as the former deputy chairman of APM and working as a director with The Nichols Group. Godbold is also a director of the International Centre for Complex Project Management and has previously served as a director of the Major Projects Association.
Antonio Nieto Rodriguez brings a wealth of international experience to his new role as vice president. His notable achievements include serving a six-year term as board member and global chair of the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2016.
Rodriguez boasts 25 years of experience as a project management practitioner and is the creator of concepts such as the Project Economy. He has been listed in Thinkers50 as one of the most influential management thought leaders and holds the distinction of being the most published author of project management articles in the Harvard Business Review.
