UK-based software firm Brixel has launched ProMax, a digital project management platform designed to tackle long-standing inefficiencies in coordination, reporting, and cost management across the construction industry.
Developed in consultation with contractors, project managers, and site teams, ProMax consolidates project tracking, financial oversight, and communication tools into a single, intuitive system. The platform is aimed at reducing the sector’s reliance on spreadsheets and disconnected software by giving users real-time visibility of progress and budgets across the entire project lifecycle.
The system was built in response to the recurring problems observed on UK construction sites, such as unclear progress reporting, scattered communication and budget data stored in different systems. The system was built to reflect how construction teams actually work, so they can plan, monitor and deliver with more confidence.
ProMax combines real-time project dashboards with task management, invoicing, and automated cost forecasting. Its reporting tools generate instant insights on performance, while mobile functionality allows teams to capture data, track safety compliance, and manage documentation directly from site.
The platform also includes built-in AI features for predictive analytics, enabling users to identify risks, forecast overruns, and optimise resource allocation. Field management modules handle day-to-day operations including equipment control, materials management, and workforce timesheets with GPS verification.
Early adopters across residential, commercial, and specialist contracting sectors have reported improvements in delivery timelines, financial transparency, and team communication since deploying the system. Popescu said the feedback loop from working professionals had been critical to the platform’s development.
“We’re not trying to reinvent project management from behind a desk,” CEO Florian Popescu says, “Every feature in ProMax has been shaped by the people actually delivering on site. The result is a practical, grounded system focused on making digital tools genuinely useful in real-world construction environments.”
ProMax is offered through a flexible subscription model, with a free tier for smaller teams and scalable enterprise plans for larger organisations. It also integrates with established construction and financial software to support smoother digital adoption.
