APM’s AI and Data Analytics Interest Network is hosting its inaugural one-day conference, AI in Action: Tools to adapt and automate, in London on 26 February 2026. Aimed at project professionals at all career stages, the event will focus on building practical capability in AI and data analysis rather than high-level theory.

The conference will use hands-on exercises, real project examples and guided application to show how AI is reshaping planning, delivery and decision-making. Delegates can expect to leave with practical tools, templates and approaches they can apply immediately within their own teams and organisations.

Key themes of the conference include:

  • Using no‑code and low‑code platforms to modernise project delivery and streamline workflows.
  • Applying predictive analytics to improve schedule, resource and benefits forecasting.
  • Reimagining PMO services through intelligent automation while maintaining robust governance and human oversight.

The event is aimed at early career professionals, experienced project leaders and practitioners who simply want to strengthen their data confidence. The programme will examine how to balance automation with human expertise so AI augments, rather than replaces, critical thinking and collaborative leadership.

One core strand of the conference will focus on the APM Data Literacy Framework and how to use it to assess, build and evidence capability across teams. Sessions will explore how AI-driven insights can support real-time benefits tracking, proactive risk management and stronger knowledge sharing cultures.

Places for AI in Action are limited but an early-bird rate is available until 5 January 2026. Click here for tickets
