A new firm of building surveyors and project managers, Bloom Consultancy, has launched simultaneously in London and Birmingham. The consultancy already has a roster of high-profile clients, including LandSec, global real estate investment firm AEW, residential, student accommodation developer Aitch Group and serviced office provider Workspace.
Bloom offers expert advice and insight to real estate investors, landlords, lenders, developers, and end users. The firm’s services span building surveying, project management, cost management and distressed asset recovery, with a strong focus on sustainable development.
Bloom’s leadership team comprises industry veterans with impressive track records. Gareth Belsham MRICS, a former Director at Naismiths and Capita Real Estate who previously held senior positions at Arcadis and Atkins, leads the team. He is joined by Josh Ward-Jones MRICS, a former Director at Naismiths and Associate Director at JLL, and sustainability specialist Charlotte Whincup MRICS AIEMA, who brings experience from both JLL and Naismiths.
“Bloom was formed to meet a pressing need that many real estate clients have – for expert, independent advice that will help them optimise their financial returns while also delivering a positive impact to the built environment,” said
Gareth Belsham, director. He added, “We recognise that while all our clients have financial targets that must be met, each also has its own ESG aspirations, and this is why we are laser-focused on helping them translate their sustainability goals into deliverable strategies.”
